Trading in service and repair of caravans, trailers, motorhome habitation areas and horse lorry habitation areas.
Appointments can be made via telephone or email. All contact details, location of work and customers full name and address must be stated in order to confirm a booking.
Payment for completed services must be made in full, upon completion of the agreed work via BACS, cash or cheque, unless prior arrangements have been put in place.
Cancellation of appointments
There will be no charges for cancellation of appointments unless:
a) A journey to the agreed location has started
b) We have arrived at the agreed location
In both cases the standard call out fee will be applicable.
Cancellation of work/repairs
If work has commenced on an agreed service/repair, all parts fitted and labour costs incurred will become chargeable to the customer should cancellation occur before the service/repair has been all parts fitted remain the property of ‘JB Caravan and Trailer Services‘ until such items have been paid for in full by the customer.
All special order items must be paid for in full by the customer at the point of order. These items are non refundable unless faulty.
All parts carry a manufacturers warranty. Parts fitted by ‘JB Caravan and Trailer Services‘ can be subject to warranty claims procedures as laid out by the manufacturer. Such claims can be handled by ‘JB Caravan and Trailer Services‘.
Speedcoat applications carry a lifetime warranty for as long as the original customer owns the
vehicle. Warranty can not be carried over at point of sale.
Once a booking for a Speedcoat repair has been confirmed, materials will be ordered in due course for completion of the repair. Once materials have been ordered, the costs of these materials will become chargeable to the customer if the booking is cancelled. This is due to the limited shelf life.
ALL warranty work is the responsibility of the original dealer/applicator.
Notice of defects or nonconformity must be supplied to the dealer/applicator as per the warranty and repairs procedure supplied and signed for by the customer upon completion of the work.
All vehicles are left in our premises under the owners insurance terms. It may be necessary for the owner to notify their insurance providers of the premises location and dates of expected work.
Property within the vehicle is always the owners responsibility, and valuable items are advised to ‘JB Caravan and Trailer Services‘ will not be held responsible for theft/damage of vehicles or
possessions whilst in our premises unless caused by a direct result of our working process.
‘JB Caravan and Trailer Services‘ will not be held responsible for vermin/termite damage whilst the vehicle is on our premises.
Our premises are located on a working farm, therefore it is highly advisable all food stuffs are
removed from the vehicle before delivery to us.
All necessary steps are taken to secure customers vehicles. We have ‘out of hours’ access control, CCTV, and door locks as standard. We advise customers to supply their usual security devices as per insurance terms and conditions, and to supply all security/vehicle keys.
Customers vehicle keys are not left on the premises unattended.
Upon completion of work if the vehicle is not collected as agreed, storage fees will be incurred.

General terms and conditions
All work carried out is guaranteed against faulty workmanship. ‘JB Caravan and Trailer Services‘ must be notified of all cases of suspected faulty workmanship in order for a resolution to be agreed. We reserve the right to rectify faulty workmanship ourselves, at no cost to the customer.
Refer to general exclusions
Some work can never be termed as being guaranteed. A customer is always informed of this before work commences.
a) exterior oversealing of bodywork is not ‘guaranteed’ to stop water ingress.
b) high damp readings will not always drop below acceptable levels, dependent on the significance of the original water ingress and level of repair carried out.
Replacement windows will not be guaranteed against correct colour shade. All polycarbonate
window shade will fade at different rates over time and conditions. We, as suppliers, are bound by the manufacturers specifications.
It is expected, as stated on all invoices and service paperwork, that the customer is responsible for secure wheel attachment to the vehicle. This should be checked whenever the vehicle has been left unattended before use.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
