JB Caravan And Trailer Services has today won a major award, which sees them take the title of Mobile Workshop Of The Year as part of the Approved Workshop Scheme (AWS).
Business owner Jamie and his wife Jane were presented with the award at the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome show at the NEC on Tuesday, February 22.
Sarah Wigmore, AWS Scheme Manager said: “The revival of the AWS Workshop of the Year Awards has been a long time coming and I know all our member workshops have worked very hard to make sure they were eligible.”
The main criteria of the award is the workshop’s ability to uphold the schemes’ trusted ethos by demonstrating continuous compliance throughout the year. Further elements of customer feedback, assessment scores, social media and business profile within the scheme were considered to finalise a winner in Mobile and Fixed workshop categories from over 530 scheme members.
Speaking after the presentation, Jamie said: “Having worked in the service industry for 30-plus years in customer facing roles, to be awarded Workshop Of The Year in recognition of providing a high level of customer service and business professionalism ‘for our own business’, justifies the hard work we put in to achieve this constantly.
“Having started the business from nothing in 2011, to achieving this accolade out of over 530 Approved Workshop Scheme members, clearly shows our successful journey.
“Of course, it’s not just me on the tools that have got JB Caravan And Trailer Services to this point. So much work goes on behind the scenes from my wife Jane. Bookings, administration, organisation all take so much time it’s a full-time job on its own, and we are definitely a strong team.
“Our customers are not just a booking on a computer screen. Each individual is offered the same personal touch & are rest assured we competently look after their interests right from the first point of contact, regarding service, repairs and maintenance of their vehicle warranty.”
